The above link I have posted is a short film that shows a brief insight on what the world would be like if being gay was a norm and being straight was frowned upon.  Many people who watch this video think the idea of this kind of world is obscene and unrealistic but do not realize that this is real, just with the tables turned. I have always supported the gay community but not until I saw this video did I get a closer glimpse into what it would feel like being gay.  Not many straight people actually understand what gay people go through in their daily lives.  The bullying, the feeling of not belonging, the feeling of being unaccepted is all overlooked by society.  We are all human, we are all equal, and we all love. 

Loving another is a beautiful thing.  It shouldn't matter whether or not we love the same sex.  We can't help who we fall in love with.  Having found love should be something to celebrate and embrace, not hide and be ashamed of.  If we all just took the time to understand homosexuality we could end the horrors that our gay community faces daily.  

We need to stop being afraid of the unknown and take the time to realize that we really are all the same.  Love one another as you want to be loved.  Homosexuality is here to stay.  Will you take the time to realize?
