Why do we lie to the ones we love? To protect them? To protect ourselves? To be in love is a miraculous thing, so why do we ruin it by lying? Doesn't he know a relationship is built on trust? You cannot love if you cannot trust. Then do we lie to gain trust or trust to gain love? Falling in love with his honesty was dangerous. Does he lie because he knows I trust him? But how can I trust him if I know he now lies? He lies and I can no longer trust him, do I no longer love him? I should have known to never trust none other than myself. Trust yourself, love yourself, only then can you love another. We love because we trust, or do we trust because we love? I love him because I trust him. Trust me I'm lying.
